Today and full Jillibean Soup

that's  not a day full of Jillibean Soup - lol!

I spent the day today in Sydney for work, and considering that it was a huge day of meetings and I had a really poor night's sleep last night, I am amazed how good i feel.  Partly I think I feel this way as I came home to a super happy little man!  Since he has dropped his day sleeps, we have been experiencing some very large meltdowns at night and it was just so wonderful to have a stressfree time with him, enjoying both of my men folks company when I got home.  A lovely meal cooked by Gary topped it off!

Now onto Jillibean, I wanted to take the chance to put all of my layouts from my Jillibean Soup Guest DT spot up onto my blog.  Thanks Jill for the great experience!

Had a great day today going on a road trip with the fam.  Before Benson came along, Gary and I use to just regularly take off in the car for a road trip for the day.  Just pick somewhere we hadn't been to before, or somewhere we wanted to check out again and head off!  We did that today - headed to Gerringong.  It was really nice and we are definitely going to start doing a lot more of this again!

I have been scrapping up a storm with some nights scrapping with friends and a weekend away - so I have heaps and heaps to share!  I will start with a couple tonight from the kit I bought from Noel Mignon.  This was an AWESOME kit and if it weren't for the horrendous cost of postage from the US I would so get kits from her again.

I think I got 8 or 9 layouts from that kit so far - but one I am keeping aside as I think it will form part of my masters entry (maybe if I enter).

New Scrapware!

I got to play with a twinchie overlay this month for Scrapware  - and I have to say I love how it helps me incorporate 10 photos on this layout - yep 10!

I also used a new font and the large tree and a selection of small and large leaves.  The tree trunk was painted and then sprayed with glimmermist.  The leaves and title were sprayed directly with glimmermist without having to paint.  I love how the glimmermist replicates the warm tones of autumn.

Back from retreating

I am back ... I went ... I saw ... I scrapped!

I think the final count was 17 and a bit layouts.  I just have to do some journaling and I am done!

I will have lots of new goodness to show over the next couple of weeks, so I thought I would take the opportunity to share some layouts that I already have photographed ...

Scraptapestry is getting close!

Look what arrived on my doorstep yesterday ...

Scraptapestry's first main kit that is due to be released any day now!!!  It is an amazing kit with so much packed into it - I can't wait to play this weekend at the retreat that I am going to.

Naomi is also looking for a designer to do the mini album kit.  So if you are interested have a look  here for the details.

This was in the first issue of Australian Scrapbooking (photo by Janine Kaye).  It is a 12x12 two page spread using a large single photo.
