How exciting! My feature as a guest designer for Jillibean Soup is up on the blog today.

Cosmo Cricket are calling for a new Design Team at the moment. I love their products and am going to give it a whirl! So here are four of my layouts featuring four of their beautiful paper ranges:
My big cleanup of my scrap stash is underway and progressing well! I am so excited to be doing this clean up - not only do I have more room and my stuff is better organised, I have found stuff that I forgot I even owned!!! BONUS.
I will share some before and after shots once I am finished (and hopefully before I mess it up again!!!!)
I got my hair coloured today - so good to have the grey roots covered up again. I can't believe how grey I am now - hairdresser advises me I am running at about 30% :o(
I have missed the gym this week trying to recover from this nasty flu. I feel pretty good now but still have a super nasty cough that is just not shifting. I am looking forward to getting back into it next week. The other thing that I am looking forward to is a scrap retreat next weekend - WOO HOO!
A layout to share ...
This is a layout that I did a couple of weeks ago, and I was just not happy with it ... (it was boring and added to that I got the number of years of marriage wrong too - lol!)
so the other night I pulled it out and added to it and ended up with this...
Love it now! Go the Heidi Swapp dotty mask (again) though no string - amazingly enough.

I have a couple of layouts up on the Sassafras Lass blog today.
And a layout - not sure if I have already posted it, but I thought it appropraite to put up another Sassafras Lass layout :o) ...
I completed a photography class with Janine from Janine Kaye Photography and on the weekend I went and did my practical session. The course was fantastic - I had a serious ah-ha moment when using manual really clicked home for me!
Here are some photos from the practical session (our lovely model was Brige, a good sport and a good friend) ...

This is the layout from Friday night when Dany and I played around with the scraps on my desk whilst feeling rather "happy"!
The sweet little bird on a branch is a new mini version of the one in the frame I posted about here. It is a new release.
I finished it on Saturday, and it is pretty well what was laid out on Friday night. I am impressed with how it came together and amazed at how much crap is on my desk!!!!! What amazes me even more is how good the background looks - it is one of those partially finished pages that I bought from BigW about a million years ago and it was sitting on my desk because I was trying to challenge myself to use it and hadn't been able to!

I hardly ever drink! LOL so when I do it is a chance to let my hair down. I would have to say that Dany and I were happily intoxicated rather than drunk as I successfully used a camera on manual mode, edited raw photos in lightroom and then made a blog post - so couldn't have been too under the influence (though there is no way I could have driven!).
So this morning, no hangover (thankyou high quality wine!) and I looked after the two terrors while the menfolk went diving (well tried to) and Dany went to a photography course with the lovely Janine! I am thinking that some scrapbooking might be in order this afternoon. Might even have to finish the layout that we started last night.
But I do have a layout to share now ...

My BFF is standing in my scrap room drunk as a skunk and putting a page together with bits and pieces siting on my desk. From my perspective of also being as drunk as a skunk, it doesn;t look so bad!!!!

I have always found Keisha Campbell's layouts and the way she photographs them so inspiring, so last weekend I challenged myself to have a go at scraplifting her style - which is quite different to mine.
