Pink Paislee have released a new range called Declaration and as part of the release they have put together a projects booklet, with step by step instructions, for a stack of gorgeous projects using Declaration. What I love is that although this range is aimed at Independence Day in the US with it's bold red, white and blue colour scheme - it works perfectly for a range of topics! You can access the booklet online here.
This is my project from the book - full instructions are available when you download it ...
Went scrapping on the weekend - had a great weekend but only DT projects worked on so nothing to share at the moment.
I met a lot of lovely people at the Scrapbooking Convention in Brisbane over the long weekend and so many of them asked me when I was going to update my blog. I thought everyone had stopped checking since it had been SO long since I updated, but apparently not! I promised that I would do an update, and I am going to try and be more diligent about continuing to do so.
Hello to all of the lovely ladies that I met in Brisbane, and thanks to everyone that did my classes. If anyone is interested, I have a few kits left from my classes. They each have at least $50 retail value of content and full instructions for 2 layouts in them. There is enough in the kits to do at least 2 more layouts. Kits are $45 including postage. If you are attending the Long Point scrap retreat, I can bring them along with me to save you postage and they will be $40. Here is a photo of the main layout from each kit:

Victoria Park kit:
Please just pop me an email if you are interested in either (or both) of the kits. First in best dressed!
Pink Paislee is releasing sneaks of its new releases over on the blog at the moment. There are lots of giveaways going on too. The new releases are divine, so I recommend that you get on over there and check them out!
Well after a busy but thoroughly enjoyable Christmas and New Year involving friends, laughs, drinks, lots of good food, a bit of exercise, lots of beach time and some serious sales shopping I am back blogging. And what a great thing to be able to blog about ... I have made the Pink Paislee Design Team!
The full annoucement can be seen here. A big congrats to Steph Devlin who made the permanent team and Kim Jeffress who is going to be a guest designer. It is great to see Aussies shine!
Since I did a guest spot for PP in 2010 I have been hoping that I might have had the chance to work with Rebecca again.
With the start of a new year, I am going to try and make an effort to be a more regular poster to my poor blog. I promise that I do heaps of scrapping, but it ends up getting posted with all of my DT commitments and I seem to always forget to come back and post it here. Slack of me.
So I hope all of my wonderful readers had a great Christmas and here's to a FANTASTIC (and busy) 2012!!!!!
