Embellished

Embellished have lauched a new website and forum - go here to check it out and join in!  Ali is always running great competitions with fantastic prizes.  From tomorrow, Embellished will also be running a sketch competition each month using a current Inspired Blueprints sketch - so using the one sketch you can enter two challenges!

Here is a layout that I have done for Embellished which is fresh up in the gallery ...

All products are available at Embellished.  I will post some more tomorrow.

An update as to why I have not been blogging - spent this week in Perth for work.  Busy, busy, busy!!!

I should be editing photos ...

but instead I am posting on my blog - procrastinating!!!  I love scrapbooking, but when I get too far behind on printing my photos - I hate dealing with them  :o(

Anyway, even though we have had another run of crappy weather, I have managed to get some layouts photographed so I will share!

It seems that I am going through a single photo phase at the moment.  Don't know why - seems to come in waves.  I will aim for some more multi photo layouts over the weekend.

I am off for a partial scrapping weekend with Dany this weekend - will be looking after the boys, but hoping we will still get heaps done.

New sketch up

Sketch 22 is up at Inspired Blueprints - come along and play!

My interpretation of the sketch ...

These certainly aren't the best photos - but I love them and the memory.  I have been going back and scrapping some of the dodgy older photos of Benson and the wonderful memories that I have that are associated with them.  When I first started scrapping I was event focused and missed scrapping so many important little details.  When I go through my older photos box, if I get a memory I grab the photos and just go for it!

So this weekend

... has been busy and enjoyable.  We have been doing a bit of site seeing around the place with Gary's parents and I went to a crop on Friday night (and got 4 layouts done!).  I have the biggest pile of layouts to photograph here at the moment and just never seem to be getting to it.

We took Batman to Audley Weir today - funny boy!  Last trip there he was dressed as a tiger.  I have been tired all weekend too - late night cropping on Friday night combined with the most horrendous winds that night meant very little sleep.  Then Gary and I went on a date night on Saturday night (thanks Barb and Wally!).  We went to Cambelltown and watched Star Trek in Gold Class and had dinner at a Thai restaurant.  Great night out but another late one - so this afternoon on the way home from Audley Weir I totally slept in the car ... the whole way home - lol!  Feely a bit grumpy and out of sorts tonight as a result.

A layout to share ...  Girl Friday papers with Making Memories Ledger, Prima journalling bits (flower and tag) and Hambly.  Bright and happy colours!

Don't forget about the Scrapware and Inspired Blueprints DT calls!  I would love to see my blog followers trying out for these.

New DT for Inspired Blueprints

Inspired Blueprints, an online sketch challenge site, is looking for new Designers for a 6 months term.  Full details can be seen here.

I know, I know ...

I have been a seriously slack blogger but life seems to be quite busy at the moment and whenever I get a chance I want to scrap, not blog  :o)

Gary's parents arrived yesterday and Benson is just thrilled that they are here.  After we picked them up from the airport we enjoyed a leisurely Mother's Day lunch at a local cafe and then I got to enjoy a three hour nana (or should I say muma) nap!  Bliss.
