I went to Sydney for work today.  I had to drive in as I needed to pick up my new computer - OMG I know exactly why I choose to catch a train normally.  I think I nearly killed myself 4 times driving across the city!  NEVER again!!!!  It also took me 2 hours each way and I made it back by the skin of my teeth to pick Benson up at 6pm from holiday care.  I got caught up in a massive accident near the airport.  Can anyone say DISASTER???

That's it from me for tonight - I have some work to get finished and then off to bed.

Benson and I are going to see Mr Popper's penguins tomorrow - I am looking forward to it.  Going to the movies together every holidays is one of the "things" that we do.

Blue

This week for Lily Bee I was asked to focus on the colour blue when creating my layout.  Now I am NOT a monocromatic scrapper and I found this challenge VERY hard.  This is what I created - luckily Lily Bee's shade of blue is so delightful!

The shaped piece of paper was created using my new Martha Stewart border punch set - LOVE LOVE LOVE.  Have you bought a set yet Belinda????  Belinda used them at our recent retreat and got a bit of a crush too.

We have had a trip to the gym, a visit to the dentist (for me) and a playdate this morning - Benson is having a nap and I am going to scrap!  B is trying to catch up on himself after a horrible virus wiped him out over the weekend.  And I am going to play with the new Storyboard Kit!!!

Woot!

I am back again - amazing!  Thanks for all the lovely words of support for me returning to blogging yesterday.  It was satisfying seeing my stats rise to show that people are dropping by to see me.

I even have another layout to share ...

 
It is great to be documenting some of Gary's interests to.  Sorry the top piccie is a bit blurry, but that was what I had so I am working with it!

I recently strained my right glute and am currently on a running and high impact ban for a week or so to let it heal.  This meant the 10km run that I had planned to do with Amanda today had to be postponed, so we went for a nice long walk and then enjoyed a coffee in the sunshine.  What a beautiful day!

I have got the washing on the line, done a bit of exercise, so I am going to do some chillin' out this afternoon and tidy up a bit and scrap a bit  ;o)

testing, testing, 123 ...

Dare I say I am back blogging???  I am so sorry I know that it has been two months since I last posted, but I have been busy - lol.  Unfortunately I have got sucked into making small updates on Facebook regularly and have forgotten about my poor old blog.  I have also been exercising like a crazy woman and we have been to Fiji for a lovely family holiday.

I will be trying hard to get back into the routine of sharing my scrapbooking creations - cause yes, I am also squeezing in regular scrapbooking to the mix of life and I have lots to share!  I have been loving scrapping again since I got a heap of new photos printed.

Let's start today with the latest scrap the boys challenge ... use tape and the word play in your title.

August will be my last month on the team for scrap the boys.  I have been reassessing my commitments and as a result will be dropping some teams so that I retain my love of this wonderful hobby.
