Scrap scrap scapping away!

I had the best time last night at a crop held at Scrapbooking Delights.  There was lots of laughs and chatting along with great thai food for dinner!  I even got some scrapping in  ;o)

Can't share any of that at the moment, but here is one to share ...

Some photos of Benson and Christian before bed the first time that we put them in to share a room together one weekend when we were visiting our best friends.  Let's just say that it wasn't very successful!

This was also the basis of a sketch at Inspired Blueprints.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend ... what is left of it!  I am going to archive some files for work so that my desk is cleared off and go for a run.  Dinner is in the slow cooker so I am all organised!

Scrappy goodness

I have another layout to share from an older Inspired Blueprints sketch.  Remember IB is on hiatus for a while, but the sketches can still be accessed from the blog.

I have had some of the best scrappy news x2 in the last couple of weeks.  One annoucement will be made public in November, the other might not be until December.  I can't wait to be able to share on my blog!

A share ... sketch 55 over a Inspired Blueprints ...

Linda and Rob recently announced their engagement ... wish I lived closer so I could take some engagement photos for them.  Unfortunately they are currently living in London, but we have not given up hope that they will see the error of their ways and come back to live in Australia!!!!

Feeling all back to normal after the horrible bug that Benson shared with me.  On the weekend I got in a solid workout at the gym and 4.2km run on the eliptical, swam some laps and ran 5km on the beach path (man was it hot Sunday morning when I did that!).  I also had a great weigh in at ww and I am now at 37kgs loss.  Not long now till I reach my next target hopefully.

I have three annoucements that I need to make:

Inspired Blueprints DT call

Are you passionate about scrapping? Do you love using sketches? We'd love to have you on our team! Inspired Blueprints is an awesome sketch inspiration blog and we're looking to add to our team of talented designers.

The period of commitment is from April 2011 through September 2011, with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for:

• Five 12x12 layout designers
• Two 8.5x11 layout designers
• Two digital layout designers

The Responsibilities:

• Create one layout every two weeks based on the sketch provided. On average, we have two new sketches every month.
• Meet deadlines for submitting layouts.
• Participate ACTIVELY and REGULARLY in our online community by giving positive comments on layouts and welcoming new members.
• You will also have the opportunity to provide prototype layouts for new sketches, however this is not an essential requirement.

The Perks:

• The opportunity to be part of our inspiring and growing sketch blog and community.
• There is no designer remuneration but you may get to work with sponsor products from time to time. 

Please note:

• If successful, we ask that you will not design for, or apply to be on, any other sketch blog during your term with Inspired Blueprints.

I am wanting ...

to post my top ten layouts of 2010 but I am too tired to go through them tonight and make a selection!  Instead I will share with you the latest sketch over at Inspired Blueprints ....

Inspired Blueprints

I have been a bit slack posting my recent IB layouts.  Here is my one for the current sketch (just released this week) - Sketch #60 ...

This layout is made using the new Sassafras Lass range.  The background is one sheet of paper - but looks layers and textured - nice!  I am pretty sure that most of what is in this layout came from a recent studio calico kit.

I will share sketch #59 soon.

And my take on it ...

I hope you all got some scrapbooking done for National Scrapbooking day on the weekend - I did some creating on Friday night and then spent the rest of the weekend trying to cull my stash - some success there!
