Lilybee!

I am so excited to be able to share that I have made the Lilybee Design Team.  I only found out on Monday and it was a nice scrappy lift me up after finding out that I was unsuccessful with returning to the Jillibean Team.

I don't have any more Lilybee goodness to share at this time, so I will share another Jillibean layout that was part of my DT application ...

I made the pinwheel flowers and the little pennant flags. 

This is one of a number of double layouts that I have made lately.  I have several still waiting to be journalled and photographed.

Jillibean Soup ...

Jill has announced the new Jillibean Soup Design Team over on the blog.  Unfortunately I did not make it back onto the team  :o(   - Jillibean Soup is the most awesome team to work with and I know that the new team is going to LOVE their time!  I know that I am going to miss being a part of this wonderful team.  A big congrats to Katja and Belinda (Aussie girls) on their guest design spots.

One door shuts and another opens - so watch this space for an annoucement very soon!

I wanted to share with you a Jillibean layout from this month's team assignments ... this is a layout mainly using the Spotted Owl soup birthday range, but this is definitely not a birthday layout.

I stitched the rays of the sun with Jillibean baker's twine.

Some Jillibean shares ...

I thought I would take the opportunity to share some of my recent Jillibean creations with you.

I have had my outdoor running class this morning - lots of interval running today to build speed and stamina.  Very hard session but feeling great!

I am off to create some more Jillibean creations using all of the new CHA releases - YUM!

Have you seen?

Jillibean soup is starting to release sneak peaks of their upcoming CHA releases on the blog!  Spotted owl soup is up today and it is such a great range ... perfect for birthdays or just the everyday.  There are going to be heaps of giveaways too - so pop on over and keep an eye out for a chance to WIN!!!

If you are in American, GCD also has a great competition going where you can win a trip to Brave Girls camp!  GCD has also had lots of sneaks of upcoming CHA releases if you scroll back through the blog.  GCD will ba having more competitions in the lead up to CHA so keep an eye out.

Another layout from the January Storyboard Kits kit ...

It is a pretty busy layout, but I love how it turned out.  Lots of layering and dimension.

The title is cut with my MM slice.

OK, that is it for me - I am off to the gym for a solid workout.  Being in Sydney for work yesterday meant no exercise, so I am looking forward to it today.

Hey everyone - this layout of mine is up on the Jillibean blog today along with some other great layouts from the rest of the team ...

A tip:  I cut up one of the Jillibean green canvass flowers to make the leaves for the text canvass flowers on this layout.

Turning Three

I took this photo of Christian (my godson) at his 3rd birthday party and it was just perfect for this layout all about him at this age.  It is up on the Jillibean Soup blog along with a heap of other fantastic layouts ...

Cards do not come easy to me - sometimes a card can taken me longer than a layout!

But when I finished this one for the Jillibean blog, I just loved it.  The beautiful soft colours and the double punched edge layered onto the same coloured cardstock were, I thought, just perfect for a card to welcome a new baby.

and then of course, there is always the twine!
